| The
second jeep trip for the season - and to the same trail as the prior
jeep trip - Miller Rock. The weather is quite hazy due to forest fires
in Colorado and Utah. The goal of the day is to work through the
difficult obstacle and travel across the creek - a first for the other
jeep in the group. |

| Very hazy - the snow spotted mountain is
barely visible. |

| Heading up the St. Vrain valley out of Lyons. |

| The
main obstacle. It is a bit of a zig-zag. Straight in then a sharp left
turn and then a sharp right turn. This obstacle can be intimidating as
the sharp right turn has the down hill tires coming close to a crop
down off of the trail. |

| A dead tree has been added to shore up the
soil before the drop off. |

| A nice creek crossing. |

| Up on the other side of the creek. There is
some mining artifacts and three cabins / houses in states of fall-down. |

| Outhouse |

| Cabin #2 |

| The James Canyon road overlook |

| Mine tailings |

| Cabin #3 |

| Views from atop Miller Rock |

| This is the first trail for the new BFG KO3
tires. The sidewalls are properly marked. |

| Headed to Glen Haven for some snacks |

| A nice looking older Jeep at the Glen Haven
Post Office. |
