| Today
we'll travel from #2 Sunset Pass to #3 Dollhouse 2. While
yesterday was fairly easy, today will have some obstacles that both
high clearance as well as four wheel drive will be needed. |

| Easy travel - smooth, quick. Some dust from
Trent or Matt visible ahead. |

| Some green |

| Letting
traffic pass on a one-lane trail. This might have happened five, likely
less than ten times, in the 180 miles we'll have on the trails. |

| Matt craning out the window for a better view
of the drop coming up. |

| I think these are the La Sal mountains east of
Moab. |

| From this location to the mountain peaks -
about 49 miles |

| Chimney rock |

| Riding in a wash - nearing the Dollhouse area |

| Trent looking for a spotter at the slot rock
area. |

| Dollhouse campsite #1 is up to the left Dollhouse campsite #2 is up to the right - our spot for the night. |

| Waiting
for the temp to drop a bit before setting up the tent I walked around
a rock and found a nice spot of shade... and guess what - it's looking
towards Moab and there's some cellular coverage. A few phone calls,
text messages along with an e-mail or two. A nice office! I do not mind
"working" while on vacation. If I could always have an office this nice. Panorama Click for a larger size |

| Moab is left of center (left of the La
Sal mountains) about 35 miles distant. |

| The tent's set. Yes, a nice campsite. |

| Jeep
parked on a slight slope for the morning start. Strap at the ready (it
was used earlier in the day at a flat luch spot for a pull start). |

| Dollhouse #1 is over there somewhere (left-ish
area of the picture). |

| One last voice-mail / text / e-mail connection
for the day. |
